ABOUT US.
Our workshop is near SHIMOGAMO SHRINE, which is a Shinto shrine of one of UNESCO World heritage sites in the historic city of Kyoto, Japan.
Since 1959, we have been challenging "manufacturing" what only we can do with our craftsmen's reliable technique and abundant experience.
We have started as a contractor for a dress carrying case for Kimonos. and now we are producing original carrying cases, tote bags and other unique items using the traditional kimono fabric.
We hope that you enjoy your modern lifestyle with a Japanese traditional sense by our products.
SUSTAINABILITY
Rakuhoku Vinyl aims for a sustainable society using beautiful used kimono and Obi(kimono belt) fabrics to manufacture better upcycled products.
